The Award
of Excellence is aimed towards recognizing achievements and initiatives of brokerages,
affiliates, individual brokers and young brokers.
It's time to promote your achievements to your peers by submitting
your own nomination or by nominating a colleague in one of these five categories:
The First
Annual 2008 Awards will be held during our 88th Annual Convention at
the Banquet & Ball on Friday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the Canadian Room of
The Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.

WHY YOU
SHOULD REGISTER...
If you possess all the necessary skills to merit an award, why not say so!
As a
recipient of an Award of Excellence, you will be in the spotlight at our Banquet
and Ball. Winning an award offers visibility in the media! Your photo will appear
in a major insurance trade magazine, and you will also be featured in one of your local newspapers!
TO PARTICIPATE
To participate, simply complete the attached registration form.
By doing so, your registration ensures you will participate in the pre-selection
process in August when the three candidates in each category, the finalists, will
be chosen by the Selection Committee.
The three finalists in each category will meet
with the members of the Selection Committee for a final interview in person or
via teleconference. The winners will be announced on Friday, October 24th,
2008 during the 88th Annual Convention Banquet and Ball at The Fairmont
Royal York Hotel. All finalists will be entitled to one (1) complimentary voucher for the Banquet & Ball.
THE SELECTION COMMITTEE
Three persons from the P&C industry will form the Selection
Committee and will choose the finalists. The members of the Selection Committee
must have no relationship of any kind with the eligible brokers and brokerage firms.
THE BANQUET & BALL
This is the only
official function recognizing the merits and qualities of general insurance brokers, brokerages and affiliates.
Be one
of more than 400 guests who will be on hand to support the nominees, cheer for
the winners and celebrate their peers!
