Our main goals and objectives are to provide IBAO members with a progressive, professional, and current educational program, in keeping with the knowledge and standards expected of today's professional insurance broker. Furthermore, it is our intention to develop an education curriculum based on current needs and demands of IBAO members, and to make these programs readily available to our membership, throughout the province of Ontario.
Due to RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) licensing and continuing education requirements, coursework is an important part of every independent insurance broker's career. IBAO members have access to the highest possible quality education thanks to the ongoing work of the Association's School of Insurance.
Whether you are just beginning studies to become a licensed insurance broker or you are a seasoned professional ready to tackle an advanced educational challenge, IBAO’s School of Insurance is sure to provide you with the best choice to suit your needs. IBAO members benefit from paying lower fees and receiving educational programs specifically designed to meet the needs of today’s brokers.
New seminars and courses are developed regularly as insurance industry trends change and needs arise, and updates are publicized to members. Programs are held in a variety of locations including the IBAO School of Insurance classroom facility in Toronto, at community colleges and other offsite locations across Ontario, via Webinars, as well as through correspondence courses. In addition, IBAO will develop customized education programs for in-house presentations at your brokerage.
