Managing Conflict (AM) Conflict is an inescapable reality! Day-to-day conflict can be deadly. It ‘grinds’ people down, stresses relationships, creates distrust and reduces effectiveness. Costs go up, and quality goes down as the focus shifts from business goals to managing testy relationships. Rapid change, along with constant pressure to improve effectiveness, has increased conflict in most organizations.
